Some of the coolest cars that come to congregate (with their owners) at the far corner of Bellevue Mall. Here's a little of what shows up these Saturday afternoons.
Most recent images of too many cars to mention: taken September 1, 2007. They include a 1966 Jaguar XKE, 1970 Plymouth Challenger, a couple of Cobra replicas, and a Ford Galaxie Skyliner. There is also a bright orange Studeolet, part Studebaker, part Chevy, part other - quite unique!

Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg: Three car marques that epitomize the "ultimate" car in the 1930's. Here are photos taken from a visit to the museum (in Auburn, IN) back in 1987.

Every year, some of the wildest, most exotic and some of the most valuable cars go to the auction block in the mega-auction run by Kruse Auctions just around the corner from the A-C-D museum. Around the corner from my workplace is a higher-end used car lot. They were quite gracious to let me spend a few moments hanging around the lot with my Nikon. Here are a few clicks of a 1989 Ferrari 328 on the lot. And here are a few pix of a 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo. Both pretty attractive cars! Both photographed during the first week of September, 2007.

Back a few years ago (around 2002), there was a grassy lot in West Nashville that was home to a number of foreign cars, presumably for sale. The lot was surrounded by a chain-link fence, so it was a bit of a challenge getting a clear shot. Most of these cars were British (Austin-Healey, Triumph, MG, and a Jaguar or two). Anyone whose owned one of these will certainly have some memories viewing these!

Something I've always been fascinated with, but never had the nerve to try - infrared film. Here are samples of photos taken on and around the steps of the TN Capitol building using this unique emulsion.

Using some of the photos I've taken from our church's annual pumpkin patch, here are a few that have been drastically altered in Photoshop! The rotting pumpkin-head taking your picture is my oldest daughter (at least the body part of her is!)

In 2003, Nashville had 51 Catfish "decorated," then displayed all around Nashville. The City Arts Festival, featuring these decorated fish, was formed to benefit the city's greenways and river parks. Later on, the 7 foot fiberglass catfish (decorated by area artists) were auctioned off and redistributed. In 2004, my daughters and I went on a belated search for some of the remaining Catfish, and here is what we found.

In 2005, my family and I took a short summer vaction to NYC. In 2006, I drove the church's youth choir to NJ and NYC. Here is a sampling of the bridges around the Manhattan island from (mostly) a Circle Line point of view.

In June of 2008, my wife's sister and niece had us do an extended weekend of dog sitting. The animal count at the Stein house was a temporary, albeit lively three cats and four dogs! Here is a little quality time spent in the back yard.

Debbie and I took a hike! Together! (June, '08) This would be served by the title "What We Did on Our Vacation" (or at least one part of it). Pictures of a beautiful trio of waterfalls.
